The glaze finish is the highest quality cone five glazes I can obtain in the USA and are non-toxic. This piece has a beautiful array of five to six plus mixed glaze colors. The high temperature melts the glazes to their genuinely magnificent colors. The high temperatures cause them to move about freely, allowing additional colors to come forth during firing; this allows each piece to be distinct in its remarkable appearance. If you acquire a multiple panel design versus a single panel design, I recommend about ¾ to 1-inch separation from each other.
