Description
My Tile Installation Portfolio section is a collection of pictures that my clients have sent me over the years and from all parts of the world. These pictures show how they’ve remodeled their bathroom or kitchen using my ceramic Hawaiian theme tiles and wall plaques. The kitchen backsplash and bathroom shower designs incorporate Hawaiian sea turtles, Maui humpback whales, Maui sweet pineapple, Maui swaying palm trees, seahorses, mermaids, and much more. The high temperatures from the stovetop and oven will not affect the vibrant, colorful sheen.
My artistic goal is to create hand-sculpted one-of-a-kind ceramic pieces that are functional, visually stunning, and reflect the beauty and simplicity of the Hawaiian Islands. As you can see, my collectors have incorporated my artwork into their home, taking the Hawaiian decor beyond my expectation.
Each of my handmade platters, plaques, and bowls has a spectacular array of colors, creating a unique one-of-a-kind motif. I use Hawaii’s sea turtles, pineapples, palm trees, humpback whales, and more as my theme. In this particular collection of pictures, you can view how clients incorporate my designs into their kitchen backsplash, bathroom shower tile, pool tile, and outdoor shower area. I attach a secure wire hook on the back of the back plaque so you can hang it as a kitchen backsplash and later use the plaque to serve your favorite dish. You can enjoy my ceramics indoors and outdoors, enduring either freezing or desert-like temperatures. My designs will be sure to complement your entranceway, living room, bathroom shower, kitchen decor, office décor, table centerpiece, or outdoor patio.
The glaze finish is the highest quality cone five glazes I can obtain in the USA and are non-toxic. These pieces have a beautiful array of five to eight plus mixed glaze colors, and the temperature to melt these glazes needs to reach 2135 plus degrees during the firing. This high temperature melts the glazes to their genuinely magnificent colors. The high temperatures cause them to move about freely, allowing additional colors to come forth during firing; this allows each piece to be distinct in its remarkable appearance. The clay body is a combination of porcelain and stoneware; porcelain gives the glazes a vibrant shine luster, and the stoneware gives it incredible durability.
