The Worst Wildfire in US History

In August, Maui was ravaged by unspeakable devastation, without warning, unlike a possible volcanic eruption, a terrible wildfire broke out in the early morning hours and completely destroyed the town of Lahaina and the Lahaina Harbor. The wildfires destroyed many other structures on the island and took the lives of too many people, both young and old. We are still recovering and my home will never be the same, your support in purchasing my artwork helps me to continue my career. It is my hope to remind people that Maui isn't dead. Hotels, resorts, activities, and accommodations are still in operation, and the people of Maui desperately need your support to rebuild our beautiful community.

The Legendary Maui Swap Meet

Albert attends the Maui Swap Meet and displays his ceramic artwork for purchase. Other artists sell their wares, fresh home-grown vegetables, baked goods, and food trucks, and more are also found at the Swap Meet.

It is held every Saturday morning from 7 AM to Noon, in the back parking lot of the University of Hawaii Maui College, just off Kahului Beach Road, across from the Maui Arts and Cultural Center. Call (808) 633-3396 for information.
